In light of the news of Bin Laden’s recent demise, Martin (Account Manager) decided he should dress in such a way as to express his feelings about the matter.
I couldn’t have said it any better myself.

Happy Friday! We hope you’ve had a great week. Cheers to a great weekend ahead. We hope it’s restful and rejuvenating!
Happy Friday, folks! As a sports fan, yesterday was an exciting day with the Day 1 of the NFL Draft. I was expecting a good number of quarterbacks to be drafted, but Round 1 of the draft blew my mind with a record-breaking 6 QBs drafted!
One of the highlights of the evening was the unexpected sight of Bill Belichick in the role of an analyst. As the long-time head coach of the Patriots, he’s known for his reserved media responses. But last night, he broke the mold and had a lot to say, which was a refreshing change!
So, did your team get the right players?
Wishing you all a fantastic weekend filled with great sports moments and relaxation.
Chris
Dealing with smaller cables doesn’t have to end in frustration and a tangled mess, thanks to the Mini Cable Clic®. This handy cable management tool features an easy squeeze-and-release locking latch, making it easy to use even one-handed. The durable design was made from UV-resistant polymers, making it strong enough to last even in harsh outdoor environments.
Installing fiber optic systems is not easy. It requires multiple levels of expertise in design and application, and its why fiber optics experts are always in high demand. While installations will vary heavily depending on the components and applications at play, there is one thing that is necessary for every installation, and it’s easy to overlook. Every system needs fiber optic cleaning to ensure that it will work properly.
Remember in elementary/middle school when you liked a girl? Boys had their own way of showing their affection for the opposite gender. Punching, pushing and kicking them were all socially acceptable ways to show the girl you liked that you in fact liked her. [Read more…] about Aww, I guess I AM loved
Note to self:
Do not take April Fool’s day off. Coworkers when armed with information like “man, I don’t see myself ever getting married”, or “man, I’m sure glad I don’t have to ask permission to go somewhere”, or the ever popular ”weddings are like funerals, only with better food” they tend to use it against you. One side of the coin it sucks having your wall spammed, but on the other side at least I know what they were up to. We work in an environment where nothing good comes from silence. If they did nothing, I would have likely taken Monday off too so that whatever they planted in or around my desk would have died or moved to another cube. This past year was an exciting year for us here at CablesAndKits. It was particularly exciting for me as the CFO, because we were and are so focused on metrics. As part of the executive leadership team here, I have been challenging our teams and leaders to find ways to measure their team performance as well as the company’s performance as it relates to their particular roles. There have been many interesting discussions because of this focus, and our team members are learning things about themselves and about business that they never knew before.

The following blog has been written by three separate CnK team members and edited and melded together by me, Christin. We wanted to take a little time to tell you a little about our end of the year Community Outreach projects. All of these projects were successful, not just for the need that was filled, but for the reminder to us about what is really important and how blessed we are to have our work, our homes, and our families.
Let’s just face it, we have it pretty good. Your car won’t start? At least you have one. You’re a little late on your mortgage payment? At least you have one. Having some difficulties at work, well, let just face it, you’re lucky you have a job at all. The same can be said about so many aspects of our lives. Even those most fundamental, rudimentary things we tend to overlook and take for granted. Even those things that mean the most, like family.
