Good morning & Happy Tuesday! Hope everyone is having a great start to the week!
I had a wonderful (and very full!) weekend. On Saturday, the man I’m dating took me to a charming local spot called Le Gabrielle, which specializes in crepes. Since I have Celiac disease and eat gluten-free, I’m usually out of luck when it comes to treats like that—but they actually offer gluten-free crepes! We split a strawberry shortcake crepe, and it was absolutely delicious. Afterward, we strolled around town, popped into a few local shops, and soaked in the slower pace of the morning. We even stopped by the farmers market, which was so much fun!
That evening, I headed into Atlanta to celebrate my nephew Timothy’s 11th birthday. I can hardly believe he’s already 11—he’s the one who made me an aunt, and time just seems to fly!
After the party, my nieces came back with me for a sleepover. It was late by the time we got home, so we all went straight to bed, but on Sunday, everyone was full of energy! We went out for breakfast, picked up new swimsuits during a quick shopping trip, and spent the afternoon at the pool. The girls kept saying how much they love summer—and I have to say, I couldn’t agree more!
