The CK Daily – Quality and Excellence
Happy Monday!
On Fridays, I typically like to go into our Buford office for a change of scenery and to spend some time with our warehouse operations crew. This last particular Friday was a special treat as they had planned a last-minute cookout and luckily I was invited! We enjoyed some burgers and hotdogs and had a chance to really catch up. It’s amazing how a meal can bring people together. I really appreciate the operations crew, they keep the business running, and I noticed they all adhere to a high standard of excellence. And I don’t mean that in a “corporate-y slogan motivation poster” way! They actually take pride and care in everything they do, from receiving the products to testing and conditioning to sending the orders out.
The Friday before we had a customer visit the office just to check us out. Normally, we don’t have visitors since (though we do offer customer pick-ups), but this customer knocked on the door while I was nearby. I invited that customer in and gave him a quick tour. I had no problem showing him around and explaining our processes. What impressed him most was when I grabbed a random Cisco switch off of one of the shelves and showed him how it was boxed, the condition of the switch, and how we take great care with the packaging. I knew that whatever switch I chose to show, it would be immaculate, and that’s how I know that there’s a high standard of excellence our team strives for. So, here’s to our warehouse operations team, and I hope you have a chance to experience the excellence they provide! Have a great day and a great week (and I’ll talk to you the Monday after Memorial Day)!

Learning Center Article – How to Choose a Rackmount Server
Hosting a server on premises at your small business comes with many advantages. It gives you full control of the server, software, and elements related to the server such as the ability to add more terminals and grant access to the right individuals inside and outside of the premises. There are several different types of servers and various form factors, however, a rackmount server is ideal for many businesses.
