Diary: Lifetime Warranty has changed everything!

Day 1

It’s such a great day! My first day at work and I’m excited to be the new network admin. They said the last network admin they had left abruptly. (Not sure what that was about). This is my first entry, and I’m stoked to get to work!

Day 20

I just love the hum of our server room. Some of our equipment is acting a little funny. I’m going to look into replacing a few of the switches we have here; they seem pretty new, but I have a feeling they might cause me trouble in the future.

Unsung Heroes

Let’s face it: everyone loves a superhero. They’re strong, courageous, usually good looking, plus they use their superpowers to serve mankind. But we can’t forget about their brightly-colored and emblem-adorned tights that make them stand apart from any civilian. If you ask me, you aren’t a superhero without a cool outfit and it has to be paired with an awesome mask. Maybe these outstanding outfits are part of the reason they tend to take the spotlight as much as they do. For all their heroics (and sweet apparel), however, we can’t forget the Unsung Hero – those who take a backseat to the one flying around the city, but still offer just as much day-saving mojo as their superhero partner.

Serving Others With Rainbow Village

Last weekend, CablesAndKits hosted the 3rd Annual Family Fun Day supporting Rainbow Village, a transitional housing community for homeless families with children. Serving Others is a core value that CablesAndKits employees incorporate in their daily lives. The “I’m for you” mentality as well as perpetually seeking ways to assist others embodies the Serve Others mantra.

CablesAndKits provided a circus-themed fun day that included a delicious BBQ meal, a face-painting clown, and a cake walk. Parents and children of all ages participated in the various activities along with our employees’ children. The day was filled with activities such as making origami animals, a ring toss, and they even had the opportunity to test their strength on the high strike.

The main event, however, was the infamous dunk booth, where the fiancé of one of our Customer Support Specialists took a chance with the collapsing seat as the children of Rainbow Village tried their hand at throwing the ball at the target.

We are so thankful for the opportunity to bless these children and their families with a day of fun.
