The CK Daily – What are you grateful for?
Happy Friday!
I hope everyone is having a great week. I’ll be honest, this week has been far from ideal. It’s one of those weeks/seasons where it feels like the blows never stop coming and it’s rather humbling at times. That said, here are 3 things I’m grateful for today:
- A venti brown sugar shaken espresso from Starbucks (with salted caramel cold foam on top).
- Progress on our new home! Not sure I’ve shared, but my husband and I bought a house recently and have been getting some work done, and things are coming along. So, it’s exciting!
- Grace. It’s been a tough week…and if I’m being really honest a tough couple of months. It’s a time where we get one things fixed and another thing happens, where you feel like you can’t keep up with anything and keep misplacing important things, and where something happens and you think “this is as bad as it can get” but then God humbles you and it gets worse. I type this and chuckle a little bit, but at the end of the day, I’m just grateful for grace.
What are you grateful for this week?

Learning Center Article – Router vs Access Point: The Ultimate Guide
Networking devices such as routers and access points are crucial for efficient network management and connectivity. A proper router setup directs internet traffic effectively, allowing seamless access and interaction across different networks. On the other hand, the access point configuration plays a pivotal role in wireless range extension, enabling a broader Wi-Fi network access point reach within large spaces.
Today’s News to Start Your Day:
- Summer 2025 is here, and it’s bringing serious heat. The National Weather Service reports that heat killed more people last year than floods, tornadoes, and hurricanes. Staying safe is key — use sunscreen, drink plenty of water, wear loose light-colored clothes, and never leave kids or pets in cars. Check your weather app for heat advisories and UV levels and take breaks in the shade or air conditioning. Stay cool and safe this summer!
- Microsoft Authenticator will stop supporting passwords this summer. Starting in June 2025, you can’t add new passwords to the app, and by July, autofill will be disabled. Finally, saved passwords will no longer work as of August. If you still want to use passwords instead of passkeys, Microsoft recommends storing them in Microsoft Edge.
- Dairy Queen is celebrating the official start of summer with the return of the Oreo Dirt Pie Blizzard Treat, which is back after a three-year hiatus. This classic summer Blizzard is made with Oreo cookie pieces, gummy worms, and fudgy crumble blended into Dairy Queen’s iconic vanilla soft serve. The Blizzard is available exclusively for purchase through digital ordering on the DQ App or DQ.com from Friday, June 20.
- World’s largest Legoland set to open in Shanghai.
