Happy Monday!
My daughter had a pretty important Karate belt test this week for her next belt color. This one was particularly important as passing it would allow her to join the next advanced class. She had been practicing daily for several weeks and was confident going into the test. Without a doubt her hard work paid off and she passed! This test was particularly difficult and unfortunately 4 kids did not pass the test. I’m proud of her and I hope it shows her that diligent practice pays off in the end.
This upcoming Tuesday we’re holding our annual Croctober celebration onsite at our office. It involves a Chili cook off, games, and delicious food from crock pots. This is a great time to catch up with folks since many of us work remotely.
We’re still praying for those impacted by Hurricane Helene and supporting relief efforts. The reports from the major media outlets don’t seem to be justly covering the affected people and areas. I’ve been watching youtube videos from those directly impacted and it’s truly horrifying. If you have the means, please support those impacted. And as always, prayers are much appreciated.
