The CK Daily – Rain or Shine, Family Time Wins
Happy Monday!
This weekend I made sure to spend some extra time with the family. We took the kids to Revolving Sushi Factory, which turned out to be both a fun and not-so-fun experience for them. They got to try all kinds of new things, some they loved and others they absolutely hated, but they really enjoyed watching the sushi roll by on the conveyor belt and seeing the little train deliver our food. It’s definitely a unique experience, especially for kids.
On Sunday, after church, we checked out a small medieval faire that a neighboring town was hosting. It was a bit rainy, but that didn’t stop us from venturing out. The kids had a blast getting balloon animals, running through an inflatable corn maze, and watching a medieval comedy play that was thankfully held indoors in the warm, dry convention center. Our local game store was there too, so we played a few board games before wrapping things up with some ice cream.
It was a full weekend, but a good one. I wanted to spend some quality time with the family since I’ll be out of town next weekend. More on that adventure later!
I hope you have a great day and a wonderful week!
Cris
