Happy Thursday!
Sometimes life can be a real adventure. I recently moved to Houston from Atlanta a little over a year ago. I guess with that came some changes in expected weather during this time of the year. I know in Georgia that we can still get the outer bands of some of these storms but here in Houston we got the whole thing. Luckily my family and I were relatively unscathed compared to others, only part of our fence got knocked down but nothing a couple of nails and some hard work can’t fix.
The last few weeks haven’t all been gloomy however as I got to enjoy the world’s greatest sport on one of the biggest stages, the European Championship. With my father being from Germany and being a dual citizen here in the US and Germany, watching these tournaments bring a bit of that extra excitement. The Euros were a thrilling rollercoaster of emotions and pride from underdogs going far in the tournament to last minute equalizers to send teams’ home. Germany unfortunately was on the receiving end of one of those experiences when they conceded to Spain in the 119th minute (one minute away from penalties). No matter the outcome, it was fun to enjoy some high level soccer as now the wait begins for the professional leagues around the world to begin sometime in August.
Cheers to a great summer of sports so far and hopefully a continuation of that through the Olympics and other events to come!

Learning Center Article – Wiring Ethernet Patch Panels
When you’re building a network, it’s often ideal to use a patch panel to direct cables and organize long Ethernet runs — especially if they go through walls, floors, and/or ceilings. Patch panels make cable management and network organization very easy over long periods of time, but you’ll need to wire the panels in order to put them into your network.
