The CK Daily – A Full and Joyful Easter Weekend
Happy Monday!
We had a great Easter weekend. On Saturday we went over to my parents’ house and celebrated a little early with a BBQ cookout and a small egg hunt for the kids. They had a blast and always love spending time with their grandparents.
Sunday was just as full. We had a great Easter service in the morning and then headed over to a close family friend’s house for another get together. It was nice seeing the kids play with their cousins and friends while the adults got a chance to relax and catch up. It was one of those days where everything just felt easy and enjoyable.
Later that evening we started getting ready for a short trip to Greenville, South Carolina. We’re especially looking forward to visiting Chimney Rock State Park, which is about an hour north of Greenville. I’ve heard great things about it, so I’m excited to check it out.
