The CK Daily – Spring Storms
Happy Monday,
We had a quite a light show last night! Storms rolled in and lit up the night with constant lightning and rolling thunder. It was quite awe inspiring and terrifying at the same time. I’ve always enjoyed watching lightning.
Part of my childhood I grew up near Oklahoma City and much to my parents dismay I would always go outside on my front porch to watch lightning storms. I would say my experience with lightning storms in Oklahoma were quite different than the ones here in Georgia. I could see the individual lightning tendrils arc across the sky above the plains, but in Georgia it’s more like being bombarded with flashes from paparazzi and an occasional strike hitting a tree.
I’m thankful no damage was done to my home, and I send prayers to those who’ve been impacted by these devastating storms.
