The CK Daily – Alpacas, Art & Adventure
Good morning & Happy Tuesday!
I’m coming off an incredible weekend exploring Northwest Georgia and the Chattanooga, Tennessee area, packed with stunning hikes, unique experiences, and some seriously adorable alpacas!
Friday kicked off with a trip to one of my favorite Wildlife Management Areas (WMAs) in Georgia—Crockford-Pigeon Mountain. This sprawling 20,000-acre area boasts over 14 trails, and we made the most of it! We hiked the Rocktown Trail, where massive boulders create an otherworldly landscape. Then, we stopped at Hood Overlook for some breathtaking views before taking on the Lost Wall Trail, one of my favorite short hikes, which leads to a gorgeous waterfall.
Saturday was all about exploring hidden gems. We started the day at Rosie Mae’s Alpaca Farm in Wildwood, GA—a charming coffee shop and boutique located right on an alpaca farm! With nine friendly alpacas roaming the property, we couldn’t resist petting and feeding them. It was such a fun experience!
Next, we visited Reflection Riding Arboretum & Nature Center, nestled at the base of Lookout Mountain in Chattanooga. This beautiful nature preserves featured scenic trails, a bamboo forest, and even treehouses which were fun to explore! After grabbing lunch downtown, we stopped by Sculpture Fields at Montague Park, a 33-acre outdoor museum showcasing over 50 large-scale sculptures. Such a cool, open-air art experience!
We wrapped up the weekend with an early Sunday sunrise hike in Zahnd Wildlife Management Area. The views were absolutely breathtaking, but I won’t lie—it was tough to enjoy in 28-degree temps with high winds on the side of a mountain! Next time, I’ll definitely be more prepared for the cold, but I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat.
Hope you all had a great weekend too! What’s been your favorite recent adventure?
Rebecca

Product Spotlights & Updates
The RRA2U, Recessed Rack Adapters were developed and designed by CablesAndKits to solve the problem of protruding equipment in racks. The 2U Recessed Rack Adapters are used to mount computer, A/V, and/or networking equipment slightly deeper in an equipment rack (3 inches from the face of the rack), allowing the ability to close rack doors when protruding wiring or equipment would have otherwise prevented doing so. These are perfect for mounting in patch panels, shelves, and other standard 19″ equipment.
