Happy Monday and Happy February!
This weekend was another cold one, but I was glad we got snow instead of ice this time around. The snow was a little too dry and powdery to build any decent snowmen, but it was perfect for sledding. We grabbed an old wakeboard and let the kids slide down a hill next to our house. They had a lot of fun, at least until fingers and noses started getting a little too cold.
Today is another school-from-home day, and the kids are absolutely loving it. Pajamas and flexibility is hard to beat from their perspective.
It also looks like both groundhogs are predicting a longer winter this year. After these recent cold snaps, I’m definitely looking forward to spring. I’m ready for warmer days, greenery, and being outside without freezing.
