Happy Tuesday & Happy National Hero Day! Today honors the real-life heroes who inspire us to be the best person we can possibly be. Let’s spend a little extra time thanking those who go above and beyond to care for those who need help. Especially in the wake of these storms lately, there are so many heroes out there doing big things to help those in need.

Good Morning & Happy Tuesday! Hope everyone is off to a great start to the week!
I am writing this on Monday as I’ll actually be out of the office on Tuesday to spend some time helping those in need in Augusta, GA. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you probably know that Hurricane Helene caused unspeakable devastation across many states here in the Southeast. It has been really hard to watch the coverage and see how many people are suffering and how many people lost everything. It has made life feel pretty heavy lately, but at the same time, it has been incredible to see the citizens of this country come together in a time of crisis and do what it takes to help those who are suffering.
My friend and I are attempting to leverage our hiking Instagram account for good and ran a couple of donation drives Monday night. We’re working with a nonprofit in Augusta and will be delivering the goods to them on Tuesday, and then going out into the community to deliver supplies to the elderly and homebound. We’re looking forward to the opportunity to serve and will continue to look for ways to help as there is a long road ahead for those recovering from this horrific storm.
