The CK Daily – Happy….Monday?!
Happy Monday! I mean… Friday!
I normally send an update on Monday, but with Labor Day happening, I didn’t get a chance to. And what a week and weekend it has been! I have been down for the count with Covid this past week and it hasn’t been fun at all. I tried my best to quarantine, but somehow my wife ended up getting sick as well. The kids, luckily, were immune to all this madness and acted like their regular old selves. We are on the mend though and the only lasting impact is a little bit of confusion with my sense of taste and a little bit of fatigue. Needless to say, we got some rest over the weekend and I am very thankful it was a 3 day weekend. It’s crazy how one extra day off shifts the mood of the week. Tuesday feels like Monday and Thursday feels like a Friday.
Anyways, other than getting over the yuck, I’m looking forward to Fall. It seems like it’s been a long and heated summer and I can’t wait for fall weather. Fall Festivals are my favorite, my little town is holding one towards the end of the month. Looking forward to getting out and enjoying something pumpkin spiced and cooler weather!
I hope you have a great day and a wonderful weekend!
