Good Morning & Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone had a great long weekend! Memorial Day is always one of those holidays that brings mixed emotions. In many ways it’s a fun time filled with cookouts, hanging by the pool, and enjoying time with friends and family to “officially” kick off the start of Summer. At the same time, it is a solemn holiday where we remember those who lost their lives in service to this country. It always feels a little strange to say, “Happy Memorial Day” but I do hope that you had a good one!
I didn’t go out of town this weekend but did venture into Atlanta on Sunday morning to attend church with my childhood best friend. I don’t really make it that way often so it was good to see her, and I very much enjoyed the service and meeting everyone there! Aside from that, we had a little cookout at my house and spent quite a bit of time at the pool!
