The CK Daily – New Year’s Resolutions
Happy New Year! I can’t believe it’s 2022… it seems like we’re in the future now! I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year! A lot of my friends and family, unfortunately, came down with Covid during the holidays, but fortunately, they all had mild symptoms, so our Christmas and New Year were pretty low-key this time around. Which I think was a good thing. Christmastime for my household can be stressful and this year it didn’t seem that way at all, even with all the illness going around. As I reflect back on 2021, I’m filled with gratitude for both the blessings and challenges. I’m reminded of this scripture that one of my colleagues shared with us:
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. – James 1:2-4 (NIV).
I’m not big on New Year’s resolutions, because I typically don’t stick with them. I just want this year to be better than last year and full of joy, I guess you could call that a resolution. How about you? Do you have any New Year’s resolutions?

Learning Center Article – Understanding the basics of network switches
Networking is a big topic. In fact, it’s too big for a single conversation. In order to distill such a massive concept into manageable bites, it’s best to look at one component of a network at a time. This time around, that bite is network switches. They come in many shapes and sizes, but you can navigate through the field of options pretty easily when you break switch features into three categories.
