Happy Wednesday! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.
This weekend I celebrated my second Mother’s Day with my husband and little one, and it’s one I don’t think I’ll ever forget. Here’s a quick recap:
- A simple morning at one of my fav breakfast places, First Watch.
- A relaxing afternoon at home for nap time.
- Strawberry picking for the first time with our little guy, and he LOVED it.
- A simple dinner at Culver’s, BUT it comes with the memory of a lifetime. Here it is: I was sitting in the booth with my little one and I looked over at him and asked for a kiss (which he’s never really given). He grabbed my face with his two hands and went in for the sweetest, most slobbery kiss. My heart melted immediately, and if you’ve ever seen the movie Inside Out, I’m certain that this will be a core memory for a lifetime.
I am so grateful for these memories with him and for the ability to be able to celebrate with him.
