Happy Monday!
And Happy June! It’s the official start of hurricane season and the unofficial start of Summer (the official start is June 20th)! On Friday we kicked the summer off playing a few board games and card games with family and enjoyed the wonderful weather. It was a nice cool and not rainy weekend! I also took my wife out for date night at a revolving Sushi restaurant on Saturday, and it was an amazing experience. You get the variety of a buffet and the best part is you never have to leave your seat! We also had the option to order food from a touchscreen menu, and a few minutes later a monorail like tray would trolley along and bring what we ordered. I think all buffets should be revolving! What an amazing concept that the Japanese seem to have perfected!
A quick update on Odyssey of the Mind world finals – the kids did awesome and placed 13th out of 51 teams. They made a few mistakes on their run, but overall, they learned from the experience and had a great time. I was able to watch the live stream with my daughter and parents of the closing ceremonies. Apparently, Odyssey is huge in Poland and China! My daughter looks forward to competing again next year with more experience and enthusiasm!
I’m looking forward to some summer adventures and warm (hopefully not scorching) weather. Do you have any plans for the summer?

- NASA scientists have found that increased solar activity is causing SpaceX’s Starlink satellites to fall back to Earth faster than expected. The Sun’s current solar maximum, the peak of its 11-year cycle, is generating strong geomagnetic storms that heat Earth’s atmosphere, increasing drag on satellites in low-Earth orbit. This makes Starlink’s satellite network especially vulnerable to early deorbiting due to heightened space weather conditions.
