The CK Daily – Cuisine, Cards, and a Curveball
Happy Monday!
This weekend was a little busier than usual for me. On Saturday, I checked out a new card shop in my area with one of my friends. It was a nice change of pace from my usual spots, and I got to meet some new people in the process. Later that evening, I had dinner with some older friends at one of my favorite Chinese restaurants—Asia Garden in Dacula, GA. If you’re ever in the area, I highly recommend it. They have the best Mongolian beef I’ve ever had, hands down.
I’m also looking forward to this coming weekend because the World Pokémon Championships are happening in Anaheim! I won’t be able to attend in person, but thankfully they’ll be streaming the games live. It’s always fun to watch the top players in the world face off—plus, you pick up some strategies along the way.
Sunday took a bit of a turn when my youngest came down with a slightly elevated temperature and a stomachache. I think it’s just a stomach bug going around, but sadly it means she’ll have to miss the first day of the second week of school. Hoping she bounces back quickly!
I hope you have a great day and a wonderful week!
Cris

Learning Center Article – What is DWDM?
Dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) is a breed of fiber optics that is specifically geared towards extremely data-intense operations. Meeting those data-intense needs is primarily accomplished through two facets of DWDM design. For starters, this is multiplexed fiber optics. That means the cables are paired in a way that allows data to stream in two directions at the same time. In other words, any node on the network can send and receive information simultaneously.
