- The 3825 houses (2) integrated copper gigabit ports, 2NM and 4HWIC slots as well. Other modular connectivity includes (1) SFP, (2) AIM, (4) PVDM and (2) USB 1.1 ports. You will also find your standard RJ45 console and auxiliary ports.
- The CISCO3825 offers optional Data Link Layer switching and 802.af PoE support through the use of EtherSwitch modules.
- This router also supports the bandwidth requirements for multiple Fast Ethernet interfaces per slot, TDM (Time Division Multiplexing) interconnections, and fully integrated power distribution for modules supporting the PoE protocol all while maintaining compatibility for older, legacy modules.
