Job openingAccount Manager.
As an Account Manager at CablesAndKits, you'll manage a targeted book of small and medium customer accounts and grow revenue through proactive outreach, relationship building, and consultative selling. You'll use your technical product knowledge of Cisco hardware to help customers buy the right products for their environment — and you'll partner closely with our customer support team to ensure a great experience end-to-end.

What you'll do
10 responsibilities, in three parts of the job.
- Own and "farm" a portfolio of 300+ small/medium accounts (active and inactive).
- Call consistently to uncover needs, re-engage lapsed buyers, and build relationships with multiple stakeholders across each account.
- Call and convert 5% of your 300+ accounts into new business each quarter.
- Help customers build orders and solutions; when POs come in, coordinate with Customer Service to build carts/quotes and send checkout links.
- Review order history to identify complementary products customers likely need (but aren't buying yet).
- Coordinate more complex orders when inventory timing or exact specs require extra attention.
- Manage blanket purchase orders for customers buying in bulk in advance.
- For server purchases, collaborate with our vendor partners for pricing, configuration, and custom specs.
- Support customers who purchase regularly and ensure frictionless repeat ordering.
- Maintain customer relationships while our support team manages product and delivery issues — ensuring customers feel cared for throughout.
