Inside Sales/Customer Service Professional
CablesAndKits.com is currently seeking Inside Sales/Customer Service Professionals to service our existing and new customer accounts. The representative will handle all aspects of the customer’s needs including: taking phone orders, assisting customers with placing orders on our website, checking availability of inventory, and quoting.
You will also help resolve issues, in conjunction with the Customer Service department if
necessary. This position will take incoming calls and make outgoing calls to thank customers who have placed orders on the website.
The purpose of this position is to serve our customers and to provide personal attention to their business needs in an effort to increase sales.
Our work environment is
casual, friendly, and upbeat. (No suit required!) Work hours will be 9:00AM – 6:00PM M-F.
Responsibilities
- Contact current and dormant customers via phone
and email
- Answer inbound customer calls and emails in a
timely, professional manner
- Place outgoing calls to customers who have placed orders on our website
- Build and maintain positive customer
relationships with the goal of increasing sales
- Provide excellent customer service and
assistance to new and existing customers
- Assist customers with questions about pricing,
availability, technical requirements, and credit terms
- Take customers' orders and give quotes when requested
- Troubleshoot basic customer issues, escalating
issues to other departments if necessary
Requirements

High school diploma required, Bachelor’s
degree preferred

2+ years of Technical sales experience and familiarity with Cisco or networking products a plus
-
Familiarity with networking, networking
related products, and corporate IT infrastructure preferred; strong technical aptitude with no experience with networking related products will be considered

Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, Outlook

Intermediate to Advanced internet
skills

Excellent written and verbal communication, both with customer and interoffice skills

Compensation:
This is a salaried position with benefits after a 90 day Introductory Period.
