The WS-C2960G-8TC-L ships with 7, 10/100/1000 Ethernet ports, and (1) dual purpose uplink port (dual purpose uplinks have one SFP port and one 10/100/1000 Ethernet port, one port active at a time).
Note: GLC-T and GLC-GE-100FX are not supported on the Catalyst 2960-8TC-S, 2960-8TC-L, or 2960G-8TC-L switches.
