Cisco Stackwise stacking cables can connect a combination of Catalyst 3750 and 3750-E stackable switches to form a single switching unit. Stacking technology is optimized for Gigabit Ethernet and is designed to allow switch additions, deletions and redeployment without service interruption. Stacking allows up to nine switches to be united as a single unit with a selected master switch.
