Secondary Market vs. In Channel: Cisco sells hardware through channel partnerships, and there's a clear divide between the Channel and the secondary market. Cisco Partners cannot sell pre-owned hardware, while pre-owned dealers cannot sell new channel hardware. Despite this, there is a symbiotic relationship where pre-owned hardware reaches customers who might not otherwise purchase from the Channel due to cost or other factors.

CablesAndKits' Role: We are not a Cisco Partner by choice, focusing instead on the pre-owned market since 2001. We offer a variety of options through pre-owned used, new, and Cisco Wholesale products. Our expertise helps customers choose the best option for their specific needs.

• Pre-Owned Used: Once used by a previous owner, this equipment is fully tested, reset to factory settings, and physically refurbished as needed. Each and every item is covered by our lifetime replacement warranty.
• Pre-Owned New: Unused products owned by another entity, often due to over-purchasing. These items are fully tested, reset to factory settings, and physically refurbished as needed. Each and every item is covered by our lifetime replacement warranty.
• Cisco Wholesale (WS): New inventory sold by Cisco into the pre-owned market, eligible for Smart Net coverage and backed by our lifetime warranty.

Our refurbished servers from Dell and HP come with a lifetime warranty, providing reliable and cost-effective solutions for your IT infrastructure. Pre-owned servers are built to suit your exact needs, including chassis, processor, memory, hard drives, and other components. While some are available on the site, the best experience is speaking with a sales rep to make sure you get exactly what you need. We manufacture our products primarily in Asia and have a direct supply chain, which allows us to offer the highest quality at the best prices. Our product offering is far too large to consistently keep up to date on the site, so if you don't see what you need, just ask! We're here to provide custom solutions and ensure quick and easy procurement for customers, taking one burden off of already insanely busy IT Pros.

Fiber Optic Cabling

We offer a vast selection of fiber optic cabling to meet the needs of your high-speed network, including single-mode, multi-mode, and MPO options. Our patch cables range from half a meter to 25 meters in stock, with custom lengths available on short lead times.

Ethernet Cabling

Our range of Ethernet cables includes Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, and Cat8, perfect for any networking environment. We offer cables in nine colors and lengths from half a foot to 100 feet, as well as 1000' pull box bulk cable, providing the flexibility and selection to meet your specific needs.

Our Journey

Founded in 2001 as Atlantech Resellers, Inc. by life-long entrepreneur Craig Haynie, who is our CEO to this day, our primary focus was selling quality, pre-owned and refurbished Cisco equipment. In 2005, we launched CablesAndKits.com, which quickly evolved into a thriving e-commerce site for network accessories. Since then, we have expanded our product lines to include many other networking products, servers, Ethernet cables, fiber cables, power cords, and rack hardware.
