WS-C3650-48PD-S Refurbished | Cisco 3650 Series Switch | CablesAndKits
Includes Accessory Kit (Rackmount Ears and Screws, Power Cable, and Console Cable).
WS-C3650-48PD-S switches, part of the Cisco 3650 Series, are enterprise-class stackable access-layer switches that allows for full wired and wireless junction on a single multilayer switch platform. Designed to help increase wireless productivity and reduce total cost of ownership (TCO), these switches have 48 10/100/1000 PoE+ Ethernet Ports, 2x10G Uplink ports, and deliver 390W of available PoE power. And when you buy refurbished WS-C3650-48PD-S switches, you'll keep costs low without sacrificing performance.
Designed to work with Cisco StackWise-160 technology, an optional feature that requires a stacking kit, WS-C3650-48PD-S switches give you the option of stacking together up to nine switches for scalability and resiliency. You create a parent-child relationship when you apply StackWise-160, creating a united system of switches within the stack that functions off one IP address. Even as a standalone, you'll get up to 40 Gigs of wireless capacity per switch with the WS-C3650-48PD-S, and support for up to 25 individual access points and 1,000 wireless clients. Plus, with Cisco's Unified Access Data Plane (UADP) application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) powering the switch, you'll have uniform wired-wireless policy enforcement, application visibility, flexibility, and application optimization.

Technology is advancing every single day. What was once a wired world is now a wireless and cloud based networking environment. Just like your business changes over a decade, so does the technology behind the scenes. Cisco has seen the changing technology landscape and has answered the many questions that we ask ourselves as IT professionals. Can my wireless integrate to my switch? Why is there so many different devices to run my network? How much speed do I need? Can I bring my own device to my network? Cisco has gone above and beyond with their new Catalyst 3650 series of switches.
The Cisco 3650 will generate up to 40 Gigs of wireless capacity per switch (on 48 port models). Even when acting independently, each switch has the ability to support up to 25 individual access points and 1000 wireless clients. The Stackwise-160 technology will enable the switch to operate at a speed of 160 Gbps of stack throughput/bandwidth. The 3650 models have speed ratings based on the type of the switch. The 24 and 48 port version has 10/100/1000Mbps data, Poe+. The performance offerings in the 3650 series are as follows; Three fixed-uplink models with 4 x Gigabit Ethernet, 2 x 10 Gigabit Ethernet, and 4 x 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports.
One of the biggest features of the 3650 series is the StackWise-160 technology. This is an optional feature that requires a stacking kit. When you apply the StackWise-160 technology, you are creating a parent to child relationship with your switches. The parent switching unit is the active switch that manages the rest of the members. When this is enabled, the data will consistently synch with the other devices in your network. This creates a united system of switches within the stack that function off of one IP address. The total number of stackable switches in the StackWise-160 is nine.
