The Intel E1/10GSFPSR Compatible SFP+ transceiver provides 10 Gigabit Ethernet connection up to 300 meters over OM3 MMF via an LC Duplex connector. It is designed to meet the IEEE 802.3ae standard for 10 Gigabit Ethernet and is compliant with SFF-8431,10G-SR/SW and 1000BASE-SX. This transceiver is ideal for use in data centre, enterprise and service provider applications.
The E10GSFPSR supports digital optical monitoring (DOM) that provides strong diagnostic capabilities for network equipment. It allows for real-time monitoring of optical signals, including wavelength, power, and signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). Support for remote monitoring and management of network equipment is available.
The device also supports Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DDM) and is available via a 2-wire serial interface, as specified in SFF-8472. The module has Double LC connector and is designed for operation in standard temperature networking environments ranging from 0 - 70 C.
E10GSFPSR supports Quality of Service (QoS) features such as 802.1p priority tagging and DSCP (Differentiated Services Code Point) to ensure that important traffic is given priority over less important traffic. Additionally, the module is compliant with the Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) for SFP+ modules that enables it to meet industrial standards for compatibility and interoperability with other devices that also conform to the SFP+ MSA.
