- High-Speed Connectivity - This access point is equipped with Wi-Fi 6 technology, also known as High-Efficiency Wireless (HEW). This emerging standard builds on the previous 802.11ac Wi-Fi 5 standard, but utilizes dual band technology operating over 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. This allows users to have a better overall experience with lightning-fast speeds.
- Multi User Multiple Input Multiple Output (MU-MIMO) - The 9105-AXI-B supports 2x2 MIMO with two spatial streams. This technology enables access points to split spatial streams between client devices to maximize throughput increase overall network capacity.
- Uplink/Downlink OFDMA - Wi-Fi 6 features OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access) technology which helps to improve spectral efficiency by splitting the available frequency into smaller frequency allocations called Resource Units (RUs). These can then be assigned to individual clients both in the downlink and uplink directions, allowing multiple devices to transmit and receive data.
