The CK Daily – From Taco Trucks to Tournament Wins<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Happy Monday!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This weekend was pretty busy, but a lot of fun. On Friday we went to the Spring Festival at our kids\u2019 elementary school. There were crafts, games, and activities all over the place, and they even had a taco truck. I took full advantage of that and enjoyed some really great tacos. Later that evening I headed out to a midnight pre-release event for a brand new Pok\u00e9mon set that had just come out. It was a great event and I managed to pull some pretty nice cards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saturday was busy as well. I competed in another Pok\u00e9mon Cup tournament. In the last tournament I played I did terribly, so I wasn\u2019t expecting much this time around. I actually lost my first round and thought that was a bad sign, but somehow things turned around. I ended up winning 10 out of the 12 matches I played and managed to take the cup victory. I even tied into the top 8 before finishing strong. I walked away with a nice playmat and some championship points. Honestly, I was a little bit in shock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sunday started off great with church, and then I began the exciting process of working on my taxes. I like to get a head start on them when I can. There\u2019s that saying that nothing is certain except death and taxes, and whoever said that definitely wasn\u2019t joking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
