The CK Daily – Celebrating the Season for What It Truly Is<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Magnificent Monday to everyone! Christmas is almost here, and I\u2019m happy to say that most of my shopping is done, except for stocking stuffers, which I still prefer to shop for in person. I tried to keep things simple this year and focus on gifts that won\u2019t just catch attention for a moment and then be forgotten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This past week, we went to see the lights at the World of Illumination in Marietta, and it was really cool. If you have little ones, I definitely recommend checking it out. Seeing everything through their eyes makes it even better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the year comes to a close, I\u2019m looking forward to ringing in the new year exactly where I like it, on the couch with my kiddos. We usually celebrate with sparkling juice and then head to bed. Nothing fancy, just together. It\u2019s hard to believe how quickly the years go by, but I\u2019m grateful for every one of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall, I\u2019m really looking forward to more time with my kids and family over the next couple of weeks. This has always been my favorite time of year, not just because of the celebrations, but because it reminds me of the true meaning of the season, celebrating the birth of Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
