It\u2019s Tuesday and a perfect reminder to give back. National Day of Giving encourages generosity, whether to charities, causes, or someone in need. How are you spreading kindness today?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CK Daily – December is for Giving<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As we have shared in years past, giving is a priority here at CK. We find that there is so much joy experienced when you help meet the needs of others in a meaningful way. This year we are partnering with a local organization that I (Christin) have the privilege to serve with through board membership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

iServe Ministries<\/a> serves the needs of our local community, our neighbors, by providing free food to those in need through a variety of programs. At Christmas iServe facilitates a toy giveaway in partnership with several local organizations. A few days before Christmas, a free breakfast is served and families in need can come with their children to pick out gifts for Christmas. The need this year is larger than we’ve ever seen it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’re collecting new, unwrapped toys for the giveaway. If you’d like to help us fill the space around our office tree, we’d be grateful! With the help of my 12-year-old (the expert Amazon shopper), I created a shopping list with gifts for children from babies to teens:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CK is matching donations from the list up to $10k (either via additional gifts or a donation).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
