The CK Daily – Weekend Adventures & the Best Tacos Ever<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Happy Monday!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And Happy Veterans Day! Thanks to all the veterans who have served, thank you for your sacrifices and bravery!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I had a pretty interesting weekend. We took a long drive to head to a collectables marketplace called Charlie\u2019s Collectible Show. This is a large indoor venue where there are toys, games, trading cards, and vintage collectables for sale. I heard it has been compared to the Frank & Son Collectible Show in California. We were there when there as a giant Magic the Gathering tournament, so it was quite busy, but we had a great time and the kids enjoyed walking around seeing everything. If you are in the area I definitely recommend it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When we got home later in the evening our neighbor invited us over for some tacos. Turns out they were holding a huge birthday party and invited the whole neighborhood. I was a little reluctant to go at first, but I thought it would be a good idea to meet our neighbors whom we seldom see. I\u2019m sure glad I met them, because I had the best tacos I\u2019ve ever had and I thought Taco Veloz tacos – recommended by the late Anthony Bourdain were some of the best I\u2019ve had, those are good, but what I had was great! They even had a trompo there which is a vertical split grill for the al pastor tacos. We had all kinds of tacos and it was quite wonderful. That was the highlight of the weekend. It\u2019s definitely getting chillier, I can feel winter coming!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
