The CK Daily – A Whirlwind of a Weekend<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Happy Wednesday!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I hope you had a wonderful weekend. As I shared last week, my weekend was a whirl wind but overall turned out great. We celebrated my now one year old on Friday at the Aquarium (photos below) and he LOVED it. There was nothing sweeter than watching him sit in front of the glass and just stare into the tank. After the aquarium, we also took him to Build-A-Bear to take advantage of their “pay your age” birthday bear. Pretty fun! He got to stuff a cute little bear and we walked about paying $1.00 (plus tax) for it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Saturday, we had a very simple party for him with our family and it was sweet to just gather, sing happy birthday, and admire his sweet smiles and giggles. We did a smash cake, which was fun but he was very gentle with the smashing part haha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Sunday, we had my older brother’s gender reveal party that I was in charge of. It was a pretty sweet experience finding out what he was going to have and surprising them both. One of them was team boy and the other was team girls and well\u2026.the result\u2026..team girl!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All that said, the weekend was nuts and I am exhausted! I’m looking forward to some time to slow down this week and also settle into this house we just moved into \ud83e\udd2a.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
