And I&#8217;m shocked at just how fast January is passing this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I want to share a feel-good story that occurred over the last week. After the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Buffalo Bills, Chiefs fans started a campaign to donate money to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/33152010\/kansas-city-chiefs-fans-nod-bills-mafia-donate-255017-buffalo-children-hospital\">Oishei Children&#8217;s Hospital in Buffalo<\/a>. So far, over $300,000 has been donated! I love watching football, but causes like this rise above football and bring us together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These campaigns seem to have started in 2017 when a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wivb.com\/bills-mafia-buffalo-fans\/bills-fan-who-kicked-off-bills-mafias-giving-trend-reacts-to-chiefs-kingdom-donations\/\">Buffalo Bills fan kicked off a campaign<\/a> to get fans to donate to charities supported by opposing teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;m reminded of 1 John 3:17, which says, &#8220;If anyone has this world&#8217;s goods and sees his brother in need but closes his eyes to his need \u2014 how can God&#8217;s love reside in him?&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;ll close with this.
