Hope everyone had a nice Memorial Day weekend! It&#8217;s always a bit of a bittersweet holiday\u2014while I love the laid-back vibe and the unofficial kickoff to summer, I also feel the deep significance of the day as we honor and remember those who gave their lives in service to our country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My family usually gathers for a small cookout, but this year our schedules didn\u2019t quite line up, so we skipped the usual tradition. Instead, I spent the day bouncing between projects! I started at my best friend\u2019s house helping her with something she\u2019s been working on, and then came home to tackle the chaos that is my garage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After living in my house for five years\u2014and sharing it with my brother and his kids for nearly half that time\u2014my garage had turned into the default dumping ground for anything without a proper home. It had gotten completely out of control. I spent hours sorting, purging, and sweeping, and while I made solid progress, there\u2019s still a long road ahead!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here\u2019s to small wins, fresh starts, and the satisfaction of making progress\u2014even if it\u2019s just one box at a time.
