Unable to contain his excitement, he\u00a0leaped out of the bathtub and yelled, \u201cEureka, Eureka!\u201d as he ran through the streets of Syracuse, Greece.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The CK Daily &#8211; Are You Dog Crazy?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Happy Monday CK Fam!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Can\u2019t believe we put our second weekend of June in the books already. It\u2019s amazing how quickly time can move on us. We spent the weekend with the in-laws family celebrating the covenant of marriage of a cousin and his bride. Always a beautiful moment in the timelines of one\u2019s life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The rest of the weekend was spent walking, hiking, and even getting pictures taken&#8230; with our dog! Two years ago I would\u2019ve called myself crazy, but in the last 18 months, I\u2019ve become a crazy dog lover and hate if he can\u2019t be a part of our plans. Timber, our sheepadoodle (English sheepdog x Poodle), is our alarm clock, companion, photo buddy, and soon-to-be best friend of our firstborn coming in July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All this basically is, is a dog appreciation post. Here\u2019s a picture of our good boy. We encourage any replies with pictures of your furry friends. There was even an iPhone named after it! Nowadays, 5G is the big deal, and 3G is being turned off. When exactly will that happen?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Productivity often comes in waves, with days or weeks of focus and progress, but then there are the times when no matter what you do, you feel stuck. You can change this pattern, by setting yourself up for success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Why Carriers Are Saying Goodbye to 3G<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3G was first used in 2001, but it wasn\u2019t until around 2007 that it became widely used on what we think of as modern smartphones. As the name suggests, 3G was the third generation of the cellular standard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">4G LTE eventually came along and replaced 3G in 2009, and it\u2019s still widely used as 5G slowly becomes available in more places. The jump from 3G to 4G was pretty major, but 3G played an important role as the \u201cfallback\u201d network for many years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As 5G becomes more widely available, and 4G LTE covers the vast majority of the country, U.S. carriers and modern smartphones don\u2019t need 3G anymore. All four of the major U.S. carriers will be shutting down their 3G networks by the end of 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>When Will AT&amp;T Shut Down Their 3G Networks?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">AT&amp;T will begin shutting down its 3G network beginning on February 22, 2022. After that date, many older devices will stop working on the network. AT&amp;T has created a list of older devices that will no longer have access to 3G.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>When Will Sprint Shut Down Their 3G Networks?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sprint\u2014which is owned by T-Mobile\u2014will have its CDMA 3G network shut down on January 1, 2022. The carrier stopped activating 3G phones one year prior to that date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>When Will T-Mobile Shut Down Their 3G Networks?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">T-Mobile will be shutting down its 3G network on January 1, 2022. However, it will not shut down the older 2G GSM network that some devices on its MVNO\u2019s still rely on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>When Will Verizon Shut Down Their 3G Networks?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Verizon delayed its plans to shut down its 3G network several times but has finally settled on a date.
