There is a perfect tech gift for everyone, no matter their geekiness level. I think we\u2019ve all received gifts that we did not want, like that handy dandy vacuum cleaner or the three-tiered candle set (LAME).<\/p>\n

Since the Christmas season is upon us, it is now an exciting time to look further into new technologies. We interviewed a few people here at the CablesAndKits office and asked them what tech gifts \u00a0they are hoping for this 2016 Christmas. Here is what they had to say:<\/p>\n

  1. PS4 Pro<\/strong><\/a>– Coined the “super charger” and the world\u2019s most powerful console with 1TB capacity. This PS4 Pro<\/a> gaming system has garnered a lot of attention. Intense graphics and incredibly lifelike details are expected due to the GPU power being doubled from the standard PS4. With today\u2019s technology in television, this gaming system offeres amazing clarity with realistic textures that make environments come alive like never before.<\/li>\n
  2. DJI Drone<\/a><\/strong>– Have you seen a drone flying above your house? Chances are it\u2019s a DJI Phantom<\/a>; that provides high-level aerial photography and cinematography. These drones are known to reach high places to capture amazing images in flight. Just imagine flying high like an eagle in the sky soaring over the beautiful land of America.<\/li>\n
  3. Echo<\/a><\/strong>– Alexa do this, Alexa do that! We’ve all seen the commercials and wondered who the woman was behind the round black cylinder. The echo<\/a> is connected to the cloud via wi-fi and gives you an unlimited list of actions that you can demand of Alexa. The Echo interacts with you by voice, and answers to the name Alexa. The Echo is always listening for commands and can be connected to major audio streaming services like Spotify, \u00a0Pandora, and iHeartRadio.<\/li>\n
  4. Smart Home<\/a><\/strong>– I think we’ve already reached the future. Residences can now combine appliances, lighting, heating, air conditioning, TVs, computers, security and camera systems to one system. All of these devices and appliances can now be networked together to provide you with a seamless control over all aspects of your home and more. At any time, you can grab your smart phone and change all the settings in your house as desired.<\/li>\n
  5. Nintendo Switch<\/a>–\u00a0<\/strong>Available March 2017, this new home gaming system has offered to provide single and multiplayer excitement at home. While at home, the Switch \u00a0rests in the Nintendo Switch Dock that connects the system to the TV and lets you play your competitors. When you are on the go, the Nintendo Switch will instantly transition into portable mode and provide the same great gaming quality. The device has a detachable Joy-Con controller on either side of the Nintendo Switch. With two options, one player can be use one controller in each hand or two players can each take one. Who doesn’t like a good match up with a mate?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
