If you know anything about CablesAndKits or have been around us for any amount of time, you know that service is at the heart of who we are – whether that is serving our customers, our community, or each other. The concept of serving means so much to us that we stated it as one of our core values<\/a>:<\/p>\n

\n We act with an “I’m for you” mentality and perpetually seek ways to assist others. We collaborate with humility and appreciation to positively impact our team, our customers, our vendors, and others within our sphere of influence.<\/em><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This past month, CablesAndKits hosted the 2nd<\/sup> Annual Family Fun Day supporting Rainbow Village<\/a>, a transitional housing community for homeless families with children. This organization is doing an incredible job of serving families by providing long-term solutions and support, and we loved having the opportunity to serve them as well. Parents and kids of all ages came out to enjoy the fun as CablesAndKits employees and families hosted various activities, games and contests. The day was filled with finger painting, jewelry making, corn hole, ladder ball, and even limbo and dance contests! Samuel, in our Conditioning\u00a0department, played live music with his band, while Jonathan, from our Purchasing department, and Dave, President, grilled the burgers and hot dogs that were served. The weather was perfect all afternoon (which is saying a lot for Georgia!) and everyone had an awesome time making new friends and playing with the kiddos. The best part of the whole day was seeing the looks of enjoyment and happiness on the faces of the parents and the kids while they ate, played, and had fun.<\/p>\n

Due to safety reasons for the families that are staying at Rainbow Village we cannot show pictures of the kids or families, but here are a few pictures of our staff and the activities of the day.<\/p>\n
