We closed out last week with a “Healthy Tailgate Cookout” sponsored by our CK Wellness team. The weather was absolutely amazing and so were the games, food, and fellowship. \u00a0Everyone enjoyed some “healthy” competition with cornhole, foursquare, and ladder golf. \u00a0We gave away awards for Mr & Miss Spirited (most decked out in their favorite team-wear). \u00a0Mandy demolished the other ladies with her Atlanta Falcons stuff and jersey. \u00a0She even brought a huge blowup Falcons football player as a prop. \u00a0David won for the guys by sporting Falcons, Hawks and Braves wear.<\/p>\n

This week we welcome two new sales reps into the CK family. \u00a0Derise will be one of our new Account Managers and Derek will be our newest Inside Sales\/Customer Service Rep. We are excited to have them join in with all of the craziness around here, but we are also excited to add their strengths to the teams. Here we grow again…<\/p>\n

Besides our new sales reps, we had two more awesome additions to the CK family. \u00a0Steve and Laura have joined us as our CK Chaplains. \u00a0They are a part of an organization that we are partnering with called Marketplace Chaplains USA<\/a>. \u00a0Marketplace Chaplains\u00a0exists to share God\u2019s love through corporate chaplains in the workplace by an Employee Care Service for companies. \u00a0We are very excited to have this new service and benefit for our employees and their families. \u00a0We are very happy to have Steve and Laura on board with us!<\/p>\n

CablesAndKits is partnering with an organization called Project Live Love<\/a>\u00a0in their initiative called THREE-OH-WE-GO<\/a> to collect winter items such as blankets, socks, gloves, and hand warmers for the homeless people in the Atlanta area. \u00a0In Atlanta alone, it is estimated that 20 plus homeless people die each year from sleeping in the freezing cold. \u00a0The CK Service team is spearheading the internal effort to collect items and money for this initiative. \u00a0Not only will we be collect items, we will also go out to distribute the collected stuff to the people in Atlanta.<\/p>\n
