The Kendall Howard 8U is an 18” deep, durable open frame rack that is designed to securely store and organize network equipment such as switches, patch panels, A/V devices and and other non- rack mountable IT equipment in a compact and space-saving manner.
The rack is made up of Cold Rolled Sheet with a black powdered finish and includes universal top and bottom frames allowing the rack to support a variety of equipment. The rack further includes 2 universal rails, tapped at 10 -32, to allow the creation of a network that can handle even the most demanding environments and applications.
The rack includes built-in cable management with cable lacing points at the top and bottom of the rack. This helps in reducing cable clutter and tangling, which makes the identification and troubleshooting of cable-related issues easier. The open frame helps to improve airflow and ventilation around the cables, which can help prevent overheating and other performance issues.
The rack comes with 25 rack screws which makes the assembling and disassembling easier.
