Cisco "Straight Through" Console Kit

This console cable kit is used for connecting your computer's serial port to the RJ45 console port on the Cisco Catalyst 5000/5500 Supervisor Engine III. This straight through console cable kit includes a straight through console cable and a RJ45 to DB9 adapter and a RJ45 to DB25 adapter.

To use the cable you will connect the RJ45 cable to your equipment and to either the DB9 or DB25 connector (depending on the configuration of your PC). Then you will connect the adapter to the serial port on your PC.

• Catalyst 4500/4000 Supervisor Engine I
• Catalyst 8510CSR and 8540CSR Switches
• Catalyst 2926 and 2926G Series Switches
• 67x series DSL routers (678, 678, etc.)
