Power to Cisco Aironet 350 series equipment is supplied through category 5 cable to the Ethernet port (in-line). There is no separate power socket on the 350 series equipment. Because there is an option to supply power to the devices over the data cable infrastructure, the need for local power and AC infrastructure costs is eliminated. The Cisco Aironet 350 Power Injector can only be used with the BR350 (AIR-PWRINJ) and AP350 (AIR-PWRINJ). If you attach any other Ethernet device (BR340, WGB, NIC card, or hub) to the power end of the power injector, it causes damage to the Ethernet device.
