The Cisco 2500 series wireless controllers is designed for small to medium sized businesses. This series of controllers run on the 802.11n technology and will operate at 500 Mbps. So it is compatible with B/G and N technology. The AIR-CT2504-5-K9 is also compatible with all Cisco unified wireless IP phones. This unit also has the ability to integrate Cisco's VideoStream technology.
This series comes with 5, 15, 25, or 50 licences. This particular unit comes with 5 licences. The 2500 series is equipped with the Cisco Application Visibility and Control (AVC) and the Cisco's Network Based Application Recognition 2 engine (NBAR-2)
