This router also supports the bandwidth requirements for multiple Fast Ethernet interfaces per slot, TDM (Time Division Multiplexing) interconnections, and fully integrated power distribution for modules supporting the PoE protocol all while maintaining compatibility for older, legacy modules. The 3825 houses (2) integrated copper gigabit ports, 2NM and 4HWIC slots as well. Other modular connectivity includes (1) SFP, (2) AIM, (4) PVDM and (2) USB 1.1 ports.
