The Cisco 2500 access server series represents Cisco System's low-cost entry into the access server marketplace. This product family enables users to connect asynchronous devices such as terminals, modems, router consoles, slot machines, and Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) terminal adapters (TAs) into a routed network. This product family also allows users to backhaul routed traffic through T1/E1 lines.
