Cisco 2 Port Serial WAN Interface Card, WIC-2T

The dual-serial port WAN interface cards (WICs) feature Cisco`s compact, high-density Smart Serial connector to support a wide variety of electrical interfaces when used with the appropriate transition cable. Two cables are required to support the two ports on the WIC.

Features:

  • Two synchronous serial ports (can also be used for async operation)
  • Synchronous serial mode supports X.25, Frame Relay, SMDS, Switched 56 up to T1/E1 speed
  • Asynchronous serial mode supports up to 115.2Kbps (external modem required -- not provided by Cisco)
  • WAN Interface Cards are stocked separately for easy inventory management
  •  Product designed for easy installation, operation, and maintenance
